Equal access to freedom
I can feel how Ideologies that revolve around freedom is the core of today’s society. I am not entirely against it, but if we think about it, what kind of free world do we actually have today? The one where subpar individuals can gain fame and fortune by blasting cheap and rehashed contents using social media? I don’t think that’s very progressive.
Yea sure, progress is so outdated, right? We’re not in the late 19th century. This is the 2020s, it’s all about equality, personalization, and creativity! Cheers! Hurrah! But we can’t afford to stuck for too long now. The earth is withering, we can clearly see our finite resource dwindling, and we are simply not smart enough or united enough to tackle these problems on time.
So I think freedom is not the solution. And I am not saying we should start electing supreme rulers or segregate people based on intelligence and talent. We should simply accept the fact that not every opinion deserves the same responses; they need to be treated proportionally based on unified and just standards. Otherwise, the world’s issues and priorities will always be determined by the unthinking majority or greedy moguls.
But who am I to say, eh?
I too am foolish and arrogant by using this product of freedom to rant uncalled opinion. But at least I try to stay aware, and ready to embrace should one day my existence and voice need to be shut because they cannot meet the needed standard for the world’s progress.
